In September 2024, I went back to my roots capturing images of club nights. This time for my friends event Bunker 13.
DJ’s D-Ject and Miss Plastik are not only darkly devoted wives they are also completely devoted to their much loved and well attended club night. Both are highly skilled and well respected DJs who have been ‘Playing industrial, EBM, dark electro and aggrotech since 2006’.
Held 4 times a year at Eiger Studios in Leeds, Bunker 13 is a sellout night for over 18’s with a loyal and dedicated following of people all wearing amazing clothing (cyber, industrial, goth and alternative) to jump around to 5 hours of music.
Challenging club night photography
Club night photography can be challenging due to the lights in a club, smoke machines and space in a venue. Hopefully I nailed the brief given to me for the kinds of images wanted. Attendees were certainly having an incredible night, and the dancefloor was full all night. Proof of skilled and experienced DJs.
